Buick first introduced Apple CarPlay in 2016, when wide release became more common; the first models to support the system were the 2016 LaCrosse and the Chinese-only Excelle and Regal sedans. CarPlay compatibility was introduced in the Encore and Envision in 2017, and in the Enclave in 2018.
